Tromsø, 23.july, Bukta Festival

The Kulta Beats flew in over Tromsøy in glorious sunshine, baffled by a nature that has experienced a rich summer, with puffodils blooming (puffodils is a flower not unlike the daffodil, with its origin in the very same way). They were picked up at Langnes airport and ushered to the festival-area by Tony, who was going to play the part as their Man in Tromsø city.
The Festival-crew did a very good job indeed. The lads felt well taken care of, and were very happy with the way they were met. After a short soundcheck they went to the hotel (Polar Hotel) to unload, and then finally, to take care of the real task at hand, a chore of every last soul in Tromsø that day it seemed; ingesting the product of the worlds northern most brewery. This were accomplished at Driv (pronounced tschjiv!, with a hint of an r in there), the studentcafe and pub in Tromsø.
The gig itself went of without a hitch, and all of the boys were pleased. From then on and out it was all about the northern most brewery of the world.

On saturday the Kultas spent some hours in the sun at Driv, before travelling to the festival-area, were they kept loitering about while listening to Span, Sivert Høyem and the Opposition and Big Bang who were the closing act. They also had a run at Tromsøs clubs, testing Kaos and BlåRock, two nice beerpits.

On Sunday their man Tony surprised them by offering a ride to the airport, which was a perfect example of how the buktacrew streched to the limit to satisfy the boys. Hail to Bukta and congratulations on a magnificent event. Call us next year! P.S: Check out the pictures!
