The Kulta Beats are now safely back from their visit to the land of the thousand lakes. They didn't see any lakes, but alot of happy finnish people.

The tour started in a great way, when Liverpool went through to the final of Champions league. It then turned bad, as they were ten minutes late for the ferry from Stockholm to Turku. But, whatcha gonna do? The boys (and the lovely but fierce managing unit Maria&Nils) went for breakfast, and then did Stockholm. (Properly if I may say so.)

The next day the buss got on the boat, even though they had to pay extra. But the boys were pamperd in ways beyond comprehension, and found it easy to forgive, sitting in the jacuzzi (bubbelpoolen in swedish) with cold beers. Off the boat (after 11 hours of voyage) Kulta was joined by a young pop fan who was going to guide them to the gig in Helsinki, so they didn't loose any more time. After all, a whole day had already been used i Stockholm. Due to this young pop fan, named Pyry, the guys arrived half an hour before the gig, and playd beatifully. After the gig the Kultas really enjoyed Kevins performance.

On friday they got to walk about in Helsinki. They then collected their gear, and went back to Turku, where they discovered that the venue was a really cool, old, run down place called Dynamo. They played their gig to the end, even though Chris got mentally broken down in between the first songs when he asked the crowd "How did tonights hockeymatch go?". When no one replied he asked again. The he got got the harsh answer "We dont caaaare!". Later that night the Kultas totally took over the dancefloor, and dominated the place. Especially Puppy Love lived up to his name, as he reached Warp 10, and walked around kissing everybody! (For those not familiar with Star Trek terminology: Warp 10 is when you go from movement to being everywhere in the universe. Instant travel, so to say.)

The most important still this day, was Chris' birthday, turning 22 (or something). This was celebrated after the gig, when everyone (kulta & kevin, crews, soundmen etc) sang "Happy birthday to you" in finnish. Jørgen (aparently he and Hogne knows finnish quite well) sang the loudest. A content c-smooth sat in the couch smiling from ear to ear. He loves to be the center of attention, that boy!

Saturday, their last day in Finland, started well, buying presents for all the kids back home. But then suddenly, after saying goodbye to kevin, and getting to the harbourarea, it all turned terrible. The buss couldn't fit on board the ferry. But, 15 minutes before departure the bus rolled on board. This was reason to celebrate, and the evening ended with Jørgen, after being stuck in the elevators for an hour, getting carried to his bed by Finlands strongest woman, who was on her way to a competition in Sweden.

The Kultas are now back, and look forward to playing with Kevin (okay okay, we will call you guys Kev) in Bergen and Trondheim.
